TEACHING FOR EFFECTIVE LEARNING

TfEL Resources

TfEL Compass

The TfEL Compass is an online triangulated feedback tool for educators and leaders in South Australian government schools and preschools.

It helps educators and leaders reflect on their teaching and learning practices through self-reflection and feedback from students and trusted colleagues.

It supports teachers’ ongoing professional learning by identifying strengths and blind spots in their professional practice. It allows teachers to obtain ideas to develop their practice and receive strengths based feedback.

TfEL Teachers’ Companion

The Teachers’ Companion supports SA teachers with evidence based strategies to embed into practice. This revised edition aligns with current SA Department for Education priorities.

  • Identify areas for development.
  • Bring breadth to students’ and educators’ understanding about the attributes of student voice.

The processes can be used independently of each other and in any order.

Consider sharing your process via the TfEL Facebook page at https://facebook.com/groups/tfeltalk

The Transforming Task cards outline 4 strategies and the 4 techniques for each one that can be applied across all learning areas.
